? Ground Prep Day – Let’s Get the Season Started! ? With May just around the corner, it’s time to get the ground looking its best and ready for another fantastic cricket season! While Saturdays might be known for senior cricket, our ground is busy all week with junior teams, training sessions, and our Women’s Premier team – meaning every part of the facility gets plenty of use. To make sure everything is ready for the season ahead, we’re asking for a few helping hands. The more people we have, the quicker the jobs get done – and of course we can enjoy a well-earned drink together afterwards! ? There are a number of small jobs to tackle around the ground, including: Sight screens Covers Boundary rope Coaches’ kit room Cleaning the astro wicket Clearing the water tap basin General tidying and preparation Many hands make light work, and it’s always a great way to catch up with fellow players, parents, and supporters before the season gets into full swing. ? If you can spare a bit of time, come down and lend a hand – every bit helps and it all makes a huge difference to the club. Let’s get the ground ready and set the tone for a brilliant season ahead!
